Pre-Press Print Facilities
Prepress hardware and software evolves rapidly, so we constantly invest in this area of the business to ensure we can offer the latest facilities to output your job quickly and error–free.
We were the first printers in the area to install computer to plate technology in 1999. The latest version of this, our Agfa Palladio ‘direct to plate’ system enables us to deliver 12 sets of 4 colour plates in less than 3 hours – unattended!
We use the latest Apple Macs along with PCs for those that prefer it. Our workflow is pdf driven (Agfa’s Apogee X) and all the hardware is from the premier pre–press manufacturer, Agfa Gevaert.
We can still do things the old fashioned way when needed, scanning, film ouput and conventional plate making are not entirely forgotten!
We have all the latest versions of the industry standard software together with people who know what they’re doing with it – feel free to talk through any issues you are having, we have probably been there before.
You can get your work to us on disk or we can collect it and put it on a portable hard drive for speed. Alternatively, you can use our FTP server. We archive all our (and your) hard work for future reprints and your convenience. |
